Brand Strategy (Rebrand)

RTP Global is a VC  that offers extensive support to the boldest and most innovative of early-stage founders, with investments that have gone on to become global, multi-billion dollar businesses, including Datadog, Delivery Hero and Cred. In 2022, the VC commissioned LoveGunn for a rebrand to reflect their bold and hands-on pioneer ethos. First and foremost, as part of the team, I undertook to redefine their name –  which the company had long outgrown in remit, scope and relevance.
 
The strategic direction  was  founder- centric. We positioned RTP as a fund that actively supports their fearless founders every step of the way. Aligning their brand identity with the fearless founders they back, I developed a tone of voice and brand language that spoke to them, rather than above them. This highlighted the uniques of their flat, non-hierarchical support.

RTP came to stand for Realise True Potential, cutting through to the essence of the VC's offer: no frills/no nonsense support that works to unearth and leverage the startups own capacity for success. The rebrand of RTP Global communicated that the VC was there to support the self- actualisation of the companies they worked with.
